Our work is designed around your child's individual biology, rooted in their unique story, and introduced in gentle, realistic phases that support families. We look beyond diagnoses to understand how the body is functioning as a whole, ensuring families feel seen, supported, and confident throughout the healing process.
How is the Eliminating Eczema approach different?
There are many reasons why our process works. We have a team of practitioners that works on every case together, so you get compounded experience. We are Children's Eczema Specialists who only work with eczema (and literally live and breathe this every day) who have worked on hundreds of unique cases. We utilize a very specific lens when interpreting functional labs, reviewing case history carefully for clues, and implementing strategies specifically designed for eczema, for children, through a holistic approach. A speciality all in itself.
Many families come to us after seeing non specific holistic providers who weren't able to provide this kind of lens and scope. After reviewing hundreds of these cases, missing pieces to the healing plan are often found immediately that are specific to eczema in children. Functional testing is only as good as the person interpreting it and the skills they have. With our very specific focus in this niche, we're able to provide much more insight and understanding where gaps were previously present.
What do your plans typically look like?
When it comes to resolving your complex health challenge, we are trained in and employ a variety of methods including nutraceuticals, varied traditional and functional testing, homeopathics, supplementation, diet change, and more.
All testing will be explained thoroughly to you, line by line, time made for questions, and messaging always open for any more support you desire.
Do you utilize medications?
No, we do not utilize any prescription medications, but we do work with you if your child is currently utilizing these. We can and do work with and support your current medical goals, prescriptions, and we are trained on potential interactions.
Do you work with adults?
Due to high demand, we do offer an add on option for parents of children in our program to go through a gut healing journey. Many mothers realize that some of their child's gut health findings might also be a part of their story, and are eager to address this, especially when wanting to bring another child into the family.
What if we have already done testing?
Many families come to us having done testing already, but haven't found success yet in healing. Most often this is the Tiny Health gut test, which we don't consider a clinically relevant test as it misses particular markers that we need in order to fully assess your child. We have seen time and time again that our program testing finds missing pieces previous testing did not.
If your child has done previous relevant testing within 3 to 4 months, we may be able to utilize it in place of our testing. We consider this on a case by case basis.
Does insurance cover this?
Our services and testing are not considered billable by insurance, but we are able to accept HSA and FSA payments. You may also utilize these for supplement orders as well.
This is the kind of work that will pay for itself time and time again, as you will not have to utilize medications and more intense treatments later on as conditions worsen. We are digging deep to heal the underlying causes.
